Real Estate Finance —This course introduces the real estate agent to investments, mortgage markets, basic features of a residential loan and lenders, qualifying the buyer and the property, the financing process, Conventional, FHA and VA loans, seller financing and fair lending and consumer protection.



July 29 - August 26

Attend class on Tuesday nights 6-10. Complete 2 course assignments at your home each week

Real Estate Law - This course introduces the real estate agent to real estate law and the legal system, to people’s legal interests in real estate (i.e. Co- Ownership, Condos, Cooperatives, Time Shares, Landlord-Tenant relationships, easements) to Purchase agreements, to closing the transaction, to financing and to Government Regulation (i.e. Fair Housing, Land Use, Regulation of Land Development, Environmental Law and Green Development.


August 28 - September 25

Attend class on Tuesday nights 6-10. Complete 2 course assignments at your home each week


Real Estate Appraisal —This ourse introduces the real estate agent to the basics of real estate appraising. The topics include influences on real estate value, legal considerations, types of value, economic principles, real estate markets and analysis, the valuation process, real estate description, highest and best use, math, land and site valuations, cost approach, sales comparison approach, income approach and reconciliation and final value estimates.

October 7 - November 4

Attend class on Tuesday nights 6-10. Complete 2 course assignments at your home each week


Real Estate Brokerage —This course introduces the real estate agent to the basics of starting a real estate company. The topics cover the manager (leadership management skills, communication and decision making), planning the organization, (analyzing market and developing a plan), organizing the organization (structuring the organization, the business systems, finances, marketing and advertising), staffing and directing and controlling the organization.

November 6 - December 9

Attend class on Tuesday nights 6-10. Complete 2 course assignments at your home each week

Real Estate Cram —This is not a mandatory class and receives no credit, however, this is the class to help give you the basics to pass the brokers PSI. The class goes over the basic National and State real estate definitions and laws that will appear on the PSI. The brokers PSI is very similar to the salesman’s PSI and this will give you the review on information you already knew, but don’t use daily and have long since forgotten.
